I'm in Spain for a year! How can I be upset about that. I'll tell you how. Last holiday season was great and I want that all over again. I love going to Chicago when the city is decorated for Christmas, I love spending too much money on gifts, and I love spending the time with friends and family. I am really going to miss all of that this year. Maybe I have overromanitcized my past holiday experiences, but I loved them. Nothing sounds better than fighting the bitter cold for a day of Christmas shopping then going to the Drake for tea afterward. This year, however, I will be in Spain with no money, no snow, my best friends and family at home, and just wanting to go back to the U.S. I didn't think I'd ever want to return to the U.S., but I do. I want to end up in Chicago or New York working my ass off, living in a dump, but having the Christams I want.
Sorry for my bitching. I just have to get it off my chest that this is not the best year of my life, which really sucks since its my Senior year.

Dude....sorry to hear this. I was really hoping you had the time of your life in Spain. I see so many cool pictures, but I can only imagine how tough the Holiday season is going to be for you. I won't hold a grudge against you, since I won't be recieving a present from you. lol. I really do hope that things get better for you. My senior year isn't going so well either. I had all these grand ideas about what it would be like, and I feel like I am disappointed. Oh well, we can only make the best of things, and the US is only a few more months away! Lets get a Long Island when you make it back...okay??? haha. Kilroy's just isn't the same... Take care.
